When my husband and I moved to Roanoke, we quickly learned that this city has a culture of local connections. Compared to other cities, we found Roanoke very friendly and hospitable. Neighbors walked their dogs on tree-lined streets and chat daily from their front porch swings. Truly a blend of city life and community.
